Christmas Activity

It is that time of the year again when the aromas of delicious breads can be sensed from far and wide, when the warmth of the smiles of children surpasses the cold, when everyone welcomes the new year with carols and lots of excitement. Yes, it’s Christmas time!

To celebrate the birth of Jesus, many engaging activities were undertaken by students of the primary wing of RPS International School.

At RPS International school, the students of grade I showcased their creativity by working on snowman craft using eco-friendly materials. The excitement and longing for the festive season was well portrayed by the students of class II as they melodiously sung Christmas rhymes and songs.

The students of class III expressed their concern for the world and those around them in the activity of ‘My Christmas Wish for you’. They also crafted out beautiful Christmas cards for their family and friends. The students of class IV and V learnt the importance, procedures and traditions of celebrating Christmas in other parts of the world through informative presentations, made and presented by students.

' Health is Wealth’, is a famous saying that refers to the importance of health to us. In order to inculcate the habit of healthy lifestyle , students of Class 1 A2 presented the Morning Assembly on the topic ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ on 11th December 2020. They began with the prayer followed by the thought for the day. Children came forward to talk about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle .They shared the recipe for good health. They urged their friends to eat a balanced diet, do mild exercises daily, maintain good hygiene and take enough sleep. This was followed by energetic yoga poses which was enjoyed by all the students. 'Camp energy 2019’

The success of the 'Camp energy 2019' full of varied activities carefully concocted for students was clearly visible with the grand culmination ceremony held on May 31st, 2019.  The happy faces, the magnificent pieces of art shown as an exhibition of the work of the students, wonderful dance performances, presentations, Taekwondo and much more made the Summer Camp culmination a day to behold. The day was full of innocent students showing their skills with pride and ambitious. This day they were seen saying, "I learnt a new skill" with much gusto. The ceremony commenced with amazing musical performance followed by mash up dance performances. Other than exhilarating performances, a magical exhibition of extraordinary art and craft was done.
